Event / Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Launch Night

To celebrate the launch of Urban Decay's new 'Pulp Fiction' collection the lovely Urban Decay crew from our Debenham's counter held a Ladies Night event in Bar One, Inverness. Myself and my good friend Bethany decided to go along for a night of cocktails and pampering.
Tickets for the event were a mere £10, and this could be redeemed against any product on the night, and a spend over £35 included a kickass goodie bag too!

We got there rather early so of course started on the cocktails whilst everything was being set up, I have to say Bar One is definitely the place for cocktails in Inverness, the drinks are incredible and the staff are always really nice. They also gave the attendees 10% off drinks all night which was lovely!
Alongside Urban Decay were Beau Beauty Room who were doing both polish only manicures using colours from UD and gel manicures too. The team from Leslie Hairdressing were there as well, demonstrating different looks to pair with the new Pulp Fiction collection.

The palette itself is really versatile - the shadows are a mix of matte and matte-satin finishes which makes it great for everyday use but has colours which can be used for a more edgy evening look, 'Tyranny' and 'Vengeance' can also be used for brow colour, whilst 'Righteous' is great for highlighting. The Pulp Fiction palette is limited edition and retails at £17.50.
The lipstick is probably my favourite piece in the collection, one of UD's Revolution lipsticks in the shade aptly named 'Mrs. Mia Wallace'. Infused with avocado and cucumber oils, it keeps your lips hydrated and feeling super soft whilst giving intense colour payoff for that blood-red pout.

I did end up purchasing the All Nighter Setting Spray and the holy grail of Urban Decay, their Eyeshadow Primer Potion. The goodie bag was full of samples from Benefit, Clarins, Dior and Lancome, which was definitely a nice touch to the evening.

It was a fantastic evening and I'd like to thank the lovely ladies of Urban Decay Inverness for holding it and providing a great evening out which was a little bit of something different, afterall - isn't that just what Urban Decay is all about?

Hollie x
